FOR THE Karen’s and Susan’s in the comments, shut up you are also ignorant and I would be embarrassed of myself if I were you. FOR THE other ignorants in the comments, don’t blame God on anything, he didn’t create evil, the devil did, read some scripture before you run your mouth thinking your a “know it all” some of y’all really need a REALITY CHECK hopefully before you’re too late.

What’s with the piling up of charges like this? How is this even legal? How many “felony murders” can you charge a person with for the death of one man? You may agree or disagree, but this seems like a quintuple jeopardy.

Clearly thought it was still the wild, wild West. Why is it so easy to buy guns in 2021, it's so uncivilised and cowardly. People in the US must live in constant fear because of so much gun ownership, it's crazy!

I love how fair, respectful, and honest this judge is. And how HONORABLE he is. He didn't take crap from either side, he treated the victim's family with sensitivity, but demanded respectful decorum in his courtroom. He treated both defense and prosecution equally. He did not take sides, he did not allow politics or people's racial biases to be brought into the courtroom, he even made damn sure the jury could NOT be influenced by the individuals outside the courthouse. I wish ALL judges were as honorable and unbiased as this man.

Irregardless of Arbery's odd behavior checking out the construction in which all he did was look, they had no right/belief to be making a citizen's arrest- these were vigilantes who went over-armed with intent to cause fear, intimidation to Arbery and through stunning lack of communication- caused Arbery to believe (rightly) that he was in imminent danger and to try and protect himself. They gave no thought to how an armed/organised trio in plain clothes would look to Arbery on the street, made worse by their actions. Clearly this was an act of vigilantism using a "citizen's arrest" as cover which the original prosecutor would've seen. I was suspicious from the outset and have followed this case in hopes of this guilty verdict- although I feel that it should have been a capital-case with the ultimate verdict to deter future similar incidents from happening. Any exercising runners should now bare this case in mind when out of their neighborhoods... a scary thought!

I want to pose a question....if the jury had been a 50/50 make up of blacks and whites would the deliberation have been more contentious, us vs. them? If there had been no blacks on the jury would the white jury members have felt more free to believe the defenses claim of self defense? BUT, with the face of a single black jury member sitting in the room with them, was it just too shameful for them to not do the right thing? The answer to this is where our country really is today.

And the McMichael and Bryan families lost members who are going to be incarcerated for a very long time.

Travis looked like he CRAPPED HIS PANTS when the 9 Guilty Verdicts were being read! LOL! His whole life, the way he knew it, went up in SMOKE within that time span of just a few minutes!
Can you imagine the Narcissistic White Privilege mentality of someone who puts a 12 Gage Shotgun in a person's face DEMANDING THEY STOP AND TALK TO THEM AS IF THEY'RE A POLICE OFFICER, then when the person attempts to deflect the Shotgun out of their face knowing they're about to get KILLED (which the Senior McMichael had just loudly announced "I'm going to blow your fuckin' head off), they get shot three times point blank range, then afterwards the White Privilege Narcissist claims "I was afraid for my life." HA! Oh really you have a 12 Gage Shotgun pointed in Arbery's face who is very clearly unarmed, but yet it is YOU who is "afraid for YOUR life??" HA!
Other words, the White Privilege Narcissist (Travis) was behaving 100% IDENTICAL to a Police Officer, i.e. demanding Arbery to STOP, demanding Arbery to talk to him (which he was not obligated to do anyway even if he was a police officer), putting a Gun in Arbery's face, etc, then like a Police Officer, if you attempt to resist me, including touching my GUN, you going to get SHOT & KILLED! This is what the White Privilege LUNATIC DID!
i.e. I'm the cops, you are going to STOP like I DEMANDED, you are going to answer my questions like I DEMANDED, and if you attempt to touch my gun you're going to get KILLED!!

It's ALL very clear, isn't it!

The judge was amazing in handling his court and the proceedings. But tremendous credit must also be given to the jury. The defense thought a mostly white jury would have swayed in their favour. They went there, listened to the evidence and returned a fair and carefully considered drcision based on the law not emotions. Bravo!

It was impossible to come to any other verdict in this case. In a lot of cases there’s some kind of ‘self defense’ claim but this was a man who was doing absolutely nothing but walking and yet they chased trapped and murdered him in cold blood. Even Greg himself admitted on the stand that his life was in no actual danger when he decided to execute him. That says it all. THANK YOU JURY!! May he Rest In Peace . ❤️

Was most appalled by the “reaction” to this verdict. This is a sad day for all involved. Yahoo’s and clapping are uncalled for and definitely not appreciated. While I share the opinion of the jury I believe that the celebrations displayed in the courtroom and outside by the religious and NAACP communities were a display of unGODlike behavior. No matter your skin we are all created equal. If you remember that one truism we can collectively share this world.
