As the greatest of time?? What you talking about mate???!!! At elite level, Fury fought Wladimir once and Wilder 3x, that's it. You guys are so biased! Fury's great, a very special man indeed, but he must fight the big dogs of the division to prove his legitimacy as the greatest. In my opinion Fury's avoiding the "L", so he can say later on he retired unbeaten.

He's a miles better fighter than wilder, he'll be a threat to tysons body for a start which doesn't move like his head. I like fury but he never deals with his mandatory. Tyson is not retiring, he'll go on for many more years I personally think. He hasn't even reached his true potential. The 2nd Wilder fight showed a lot of what he can do at his best with this new style, the 3rd fight he was underpepared and kinda out of shape.

Hey, folks I did not hear Warren say Fury is considering retiring or may retire???? You must remember Fury is a master of mind games, Frank is doing his deeds, making out that no one knows when or who Fury will fight. They know 100% who they gonna fight next, when it is likely to be... Just manipulating the public for whatever their benefit may be, who knows? Further more he's right in saying Whyte has a rematch Clause with Wallin if he looses, which I believe is a distinct possibility. If or when Whyte looses. Whytes stock/credibility goes down. He then will have another fight with Wallin which he may loose again. If Whyte looses to Wallin would you the public then still deem Whyte a worthy opponent for Tyson? So Frank is correct in stating what he has about a possible meet up against Fury & Whyte.

Fury will skip Whyte now, Fury was commissioned to fight the winner of either fight, not to strictly fight Whyte, that was made clear. It will likely be Fury vs Haye, which is a STUPID fight but big PPV in the UK and an easy warm-up fight for Fury before Undisputed.

If Tyson Fury is truly talking about retirement, he is such a fucking waffler, just like Anthony Joshua said in the past. At least Anthony has dared to become great; failed at it but still gave it a shot. Although Fury does have the potential to become an all-time great, he may never fulfil this potential because he is such a waffler and ultimately is (seemingly) apprehensive of losing. Fury has mentioned time after time, in interview after interview, how much he enjoys fighting, how training is medicine to him, how no one can beat him, yet here he is again talking about putting an end to it all. In addition, in those same interviews he often talks about the notion of time and how aware he is of it. Well, if that is truly the case, he should take advantage of his prime years and ability to still fight before it is too late, when he will undoubtedly have regrets. He has already squandered away like 2-3 years, he should have the presence of mind to not repeat those mistakes. I honestly think Fury will never fight Usyk because, despite him pretending not to care about legacy or that "0" in the defeat column, he does care and he knows damn well that Usyk is the only fighter out there that has a very good chance of beating him. Thus, Fury will most likely never take the risk of fighting Usyk. HOPE TO GOD I AM PROVEN WRONG.

    • Digger James

      Digger James

      Month ago

Fury can do what he damn well wants to do in life. His life is not dictated by the likes of you. Do you think he sits down with his family and makes a decision on his life based on what you think ? Maybe he could not give a shit about being an all time great. If he fights again, I would certainly watch it. If he sits down with his wife and family and decides he has way enough money for 4 lifetimes, and wants to avoid brain damage, good freakin luck to him. And how is Joshua great ? by beating up on a bunch of 40 year olds ?

@Mitch Hulmes more exhausting seeing AJ D riders. Fury and AJ both signed to fight eachother unfortunately a contract that wilder held over fury put a stop to it. Wilder, fury, AJ and whyte was top 4 yet AJ didn't fight whyte infact eddie chose Usyk a cruiserweight who's only fought chisora who then got a shot at AJs title, Eddie's been making AJ dodge whyte for the past 3-4 years even tho whyte was the interim but chooses ruiz who lost to parker then won 3 bums yet got a shot a the title whilst whyte got dodged eddie even turned Whytes attention to Fury as the first fight whyte rocked AJ and eddie didn't want to risk his cash cow. 1 fighter Whyte, usyk and fury have all fought is chisora all winning but the difference in class showed as fury dismatled and rearranged chisoras face and scooling masterclass against him. The only fighter AJ and Fury fought was klitchsko another where from both fighters it was fury that did the schooling without assumptions of previous eras fury is the best heavyweight today simple as that. Dismantling wilder making him look like he was hit by a truck. Everyone knows if Wilder catches AJ he wouldn't get back up and that 'if' is put lightly as AJ has zero head movement and gasses after the 6th or 7th round 😅 Fury will sign to fight AJ again and cement his name as a GOAT with only haters talking BS about previous eras 😉

Beating Wilder doesn't mean you can automatically beat all the other guys, as they all have power & much better boxing skills

Then dubois and joyce title defences and you will have fought all top contenders and not 1 person can say you are not best of your era. he beat klitchko but so did Aj, he beat wiilder but Wilder not beat anyone in top 5. Tyson Fury,is not in the fight game to fight the best for the fans entertainment he is playing the boxing game and world in a whole different not seen before way. Unless forced by governing bodies he won't fight no.1 contenders, and even then may ditch titles to avoid them. His plan is to dominate yet avoid the main names. Yes he beat up Wilder, but we all know Wilder is not a boxer with boxing skills.. Fury is in the boxing game for whole different reasons, and it's not to fight the best.. never losing is more important to him.. being the hardest gypsy is what it's about.. the gypsy king....its not about money or fame... its about being a Gypsy fighter and dominating that by never losing.

@L Zion hmm….pretty good vision. I struggle so much to SEE fury v usyk even happening that, I cant see who will win. I wont disagree with usyk winning. I think right now, Usyk is the most determined and mentally focused out of the bunch. I think Fury has an all round great skill set AND physical attributes but I also think Fury needs to FEED off an opponent and break them down mentally. This will not happen with Usyk (language barrier adds to it) Usyk is cold and emotionless and that ALONE gives him the edge over Fury. I think at THEIR LEVEL, the mental edge is even all the MORE vital. But yeah, its still a GREAT fight and could fo either way! The rest of yours I agree with. Not SO sure AJ v JOYCE would be as good as you predict. I love Joyce, i think he’s the toughest guy out there to be honest. He’s like a proper throw back fighting tough guy in the ring. However, despite what he says, I think he DOES rely on his chin too much and it shows in his poor defence. I dont want to see people eat so much punishment. But he deffo has the skills to beat AJ. AJ for me is in trouble with this particular set of heavyweights now i think. Fury, Joyce, Usyk for example. All GREAT stamina. Just unbelievable. AJ cannot live with these men past the 6th maybe 8th. He really IS just too muscle bound. Like Mike Tyson after his jail time. He started lifting weights inside and became bigger and ripped. (Not his main downfall obviously) AJ always reminded me of a Frank Bruno. Stiff and muscley. Different fighters yea, but similar too. Similar that they struggle with the too guys. And i think this IS that level for AJ. Not dissing him or anything. But his chin, his ring IQ, his stamina and his fluidity are all quite poor compared to the other boys. Those big massive shots he puts together are big gambles on these guys. Like those upoercuts on Pulev….HUUUGE blows but very pantomime looking. NEVER gunna land on a Usyk or a Fury. I would still rather see Aj v Wilder man!! Wilder’s stock has risen for me. Im gutted now whyte wallin is off. I look forwars to canelo v plant. But with the heavyweight scene hanging on a bloody chisora parker rematch for the rest of the year. Thats a bit ….meh

@Simon Paterson i was referring to WHYTE pulling out the Wallin fight. Not Fury pulling out of fighting Whyte. Whyte don't want to take the risk so he avoided the Wallin fight and will probably jump straight into a fight with Fury. Read the comments man

@Y Alexander Why is WHYTE a risk ? He would be a sitting duck for one of wilders right hands.

@Y Alexander Whyte is a Bum, knocked on his ass by a 40 year old Povetkin, and Parker was ripped off against him too.
